Can one anticipate the next emerging infectious diseases in Europe?

The Laboratory of Excellence (LabEx) Integrative Biology of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IBEID) announces its first Symposium to be held in amphithéâtre Emile Duclaux.

The workshop entitled “Can one anticipate the next emerging infectious diseases in Europe?” will provide a unique and cutting edge forum addressing various aspects of disease emergence, including Climate Change, Zoonotic Disease and Pathogen Evolution, Population Migration and Transport, and Modeling, through keynote lectures given by leading scientists, as well as oral and poster presentations. The symposium embraces the concept of ‘One Health’ comprising talks by human and veterinary health specialists on emerging diseases in man and livestock.
