As part of the new EU-GIZ Adaptation to Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Programme (ACSE) the following four advisory positions have been advertised.
- Food Security & Livelihoods (one specialist in agriculture, forestry, or fisheries)
- Integrated Coastal Management (terrestrial & marine: one specialist in geology, biology, marine science)
- Civil Engineering (including infrastructure, water & sanitation: one civil engineer)
- Social Impacts, knowledge management (one social scientist).
The objectives of the ACSE programme are to enhance sustainable livelihoods in Pacific ACPs, to strengthen PACPs capacities to adapt to the adverse effects of climate change and to enhance PACPs energy security at the national, provincial and local/community levels.
Applications for these positions must be received via the GIZ website by 21st July 2014.
