French Coordinator at the USP Emalus Campus, Vanuatu

The USP is one of two regional universities in the world and is the leading tertiary education provider and research facility in the South Pacific. The USP recognises the importance of research activity to our academic staff and therefore provides incentives to encourage research and publications output. With over 26,000 students around the Pacific region, we are supported by 12 Pacific Island Countries; Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

The University of the South Pacific is inviting applications for French Coordinator at the Emalus Campus, Vanuatu. This position is responsible for the French program delivered through the Emalus Campus; coordinating all related academic and administrative aspects. The goal is the eventual expansion of USP supported French program, enabling students to make a smooth transition to higher education meeting the needs of the Francophone community in Vanuatu.

The appointee will oversee daily program operations’ ensuring the good reputation and effectiveness of the University is maintained; deliver optimum academic programs and realization of education targets and university goals; improve USP services and responsiveness to local needs through monitoring and reporting.
