WWF, the global conservation organization is seeking to recruit a Tuna Fisheries Policy Officer who will report directly to the Conservation & Communications Specialist for the day to day management. The position holder will work closely with WWF PNG staff, WWF Solomon Islands Tuna Fisheries Officer, WWF Pacific Sustainable Fisheries and Seafood Programme staff, the WWF Network Initiatives working within the region – Coral Triangle Programme, Smart Fishing and Global Shark Initiative.
The position will be based in WWF’s PNG office in Madang and will be required to work in collaboration with WWF’S Solomon Islands country office for implementation of activities in Solomon Islands in relation to tuna fisheries.
