The Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) Accreditation Council recently called for nominations from qualified and experienced research managers to form an initial pool of presenters for the delivery of Foundation Level Accreditation modules. These authorised module presenters have been designated ARMS Training Fellows and are recognised by the Accreditation Council as having the knowledge and skills to speak authoritatively on selected areas of research management and the ability to effectively train others.
Late in 2013, a call was made for Australian based ARMS Training Fellows. The list of ARMS Training Fellows is now available on the ARMS website such that Chapter Convenors are able to identify and approach those persons who may be in a position to present accreditation modules at a chapter level.
The focus is now shifting to the identification of ARMS Training Fellows from New Zealand, PNG, the Pacific Islands or Singapore authorised to present module material and therefore forms the basis for this call.
Applications must be submitted to the arms secretariat by close of business 5pm AEST 25 February 2014.
