SPC is an intergovernmental organisation of 26 members that provides technical and policy advice and assistance to its 22 Pacific Island members.
SPC’s mission is to help Pacific island people position themselves to respond effectively to the challenges they face and make informed decisions about their future and the future they wish to leave for the generations that follow. SPC services are provided primarily in the form of technical assistance, training and research, in fisheries and aquaculture, agriculture and forestry, public health, transport, energy, water and sanitation, risk disaster management, statistics, youth, gender, culture, human rights.
