The FRIENZ project will provide funding from the European Commission and MBIE to assist selected New Zealand delegates to participate in a Study Group Tour through Europe. Participants are expected to establish on-going relationships and collaborations with their European counterparts in the area of food processing technologies for new products, for preservation and for food safety.
Organisations on the tour programme include companies, universities and research organisations in the UK, France, the Netherlands and Germany. The tour is expected to take place for approximately 12 days beginning 31 March 2014.
Representatives from New Zealand research organisations, universities and companies can apply for a grant of up to NZD 8,200 incl GST to assist with tour expenses.
All applications must be submitted by midday 31 January 2014.
